Our dedicated and talented team brings a collective 40 years of property management, construction, and administrative experience. This expertise allows us to provide superior client-service, by managing building maintenance, finances, and administration responsibilities. As the right hand of the condo corporation, condo board, and liaison for condo owners, we will support day-to-day concerns, advise on immediate maintenance needs and help to prepare and execute for future projects, renovations, and repairs.

Leigh E. Nickerson, Owner & Property Manager
As the building and construction professional at Condo 51 Management Ltd., Leigh oversees the maintenance of properties, performing regular building inspections, and working closely with the condo corporation to advise on repairs or concerns. Leigh’s personable approach and extensive knowledge builds strong relationships with property owners and corporation boards, helping them to strategize any structural and/or financial challenges, identify optimal solutions, and lead confidently through to execution.
Leigh is a licensed electrician, with over 40 years of experience working in construction before starting a career in property management. He also apprenticed for 2 years in air conditioning and refrigeration with a reputable company in Yarmouth, NS, before moving to Halifax.
Beginning as a Superintendent of several multi-unit buildings in the South-end of Halifax, Leigh quickly advanced to Building Operator, overseeing multiple residential buildings, including a high-rise rental property. After 10 years working for another property management company, and seeing a need in the condo industry, Leigh started his own property management company to offer the personalized and professional service condo owners were seeking.
Leigh prides himself on delivering superior client-service, through quick response, sound judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to financial responsibility. His clients admire his straight-forward and personal approach, with a solution-oriented focus and determination to get things done right the first time.
Heather Nickerson, Owner / Office & Property Manager
Leading Condo 51 Management Ltd.’s administrative operations, Heather manages the Condo 51 office, providing administrative support to condo owners and the condo corporations as a whole. Overseeing all financial aspects, Heather manages the condo corporations accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting. Heather is extremely organized, and keen to help and answer financial and administrative inquiries, keeping corporations aware of current financial status to support important financial decisions.
With over a decade of experience in Office Administration, Heather has proven her diligence and precision in organizing and managing information. Over her career, Heather has thrived working with and teaching children and youth, managing complex inventories and financials, as well as supervising and leading others. Heather’s open and approachable style to communication builds strong connections with colleagues, staff and clients.
Angela E. Khan, BMgmt, CIP / Financial & Property Manager
Managing day-to-day operations at Condo 51 Management Ltd., Angela manages the book keeping and office administrative tasks essential to supporting condo corporations. Angela assists in the tracking of condo fee payments and the payment of invoices. She manages contingency and reserve fund transfers, reporting regularly on the status of operational budgets. As requested, or prior to condo board meetings, Angela prepares meeting itineraries, detailed financial reports, and other supporting information necessary for productive meetings.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Management from Dalhousie University, and an Accounting Diploma from CompuCollege. Starting her career as an Insurance Adjuster, and earning her CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) designation, Angela has extensive experience organizing and analyzing complex information and data. Determined and focused, Angela is known to go above and beyond to find the accurate answer to any question or concern.
Administrative Assistants
Supporting day-to-day operations at Condo 51 Management Ltd., they performs various office administrative tasks essential to supporting condo corporations, which includes assisting in maintaining the client database, and accounts receivable.
Charlotte Anthony / Accounts Receivable
Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Management from Dalhousie University. Starting her career in investing, Charlotte has extensive financial experience. She is maintly responsible for Accounts Receivable.
Nancy Peverill / Accounts Receivable/Payable & Maintenance Coordinator
Nancy obtained her Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Education degrees from Acadia University. She has worked for 18 years in public and private educations in Nova Scotia, plus 12 years teaching English as a second language in South Korea. She is mainly responsible for Accounts Payable.
